Neart is a unique island.

It is home to a truly amazing EPIC wave, designed by Heather Goodliffe, offering some of the best surfing in Second Life. Free loaners surf boards are available for use.

The island also hosts a faithful recreation of Newgrange, a megalithic passage tomb in the Boyne Valley of Ireland that is well known for it’s alignment with the solstice sun. Built in Second Life by Che Baraza, the SL Newgrange hosts regularly changing displays on the culture and history of Ireland.

Neart also has a beautiful fire circle and fishing camp that are perfect for quiet talks with friends.  For those with more active pursuits in mind, the Neart dance deck always has music and dance devices for romance in view of the sun and surf.
